System selection, tenders, decision preparation, investment preparation
Nowadays it is not considered a particularly extravagant expectation for a client to require the design, creation, acquisition, implementation, operation, maintenance and updating of a high-reliability, complex IT system. In recent years, KÜRT has mastered the necessary professional skills to offer services in system selection, organizing tenders, and concluding contracts, and we have also formed good relationships with several of the major suppliers on the Hungarian IT market, and acquired knowledge of their specialist areas. Also, our rich past experiences have given us acute awareness of the difficulties that can arise, the pitfalls that can threaten various IT projects, as well as trends in the industry. This is why, in our system selection and tender assignments, our primary aim is to help those taking part in the tender to demonstrate their professional abilities clearly and objectively. Even in the preparation phase, we place special emphasis on the need to elaborate the planning and system integration aspects of the tender in sufficient detail. While working on the tender, we pay particular attention to our clients' investment protection. To that end, we make cost-efficiency analyses if necessary, as well as compiling detailed decision-preparation studies. We also offer professional assistance in preparing the contract with the winning applicant, as this is the only opportunity to acquire guarantees on operational and availability issues. We ensure that the tasks outlined above are carried out without fail and that they always serve the client's best interest regardless of who the provider is. Our professionalism is held in high regard by the suppliers of Hungary's information technology market. IT strategic planning The development of IT systems is a medium to long-term investment for organizations and consequently needs medium to long-term planning. Organizations that use information technology extensively can be expected to have a top-level policy statement regarding the purpose of the IT system and all the IT goals and targets that affect the long-term aims subsumed in the mission statement of the organization. A strategic approach must be used in planning the development of the IT system and the enhancement of its security, partly because of the long-term investment horizons that are involved, and partly because the opportunities offered by information technology and the operation of the organization are so closely linked. KÜRT's IT strategic planning aims at setting reasonable tasks for the development of an IT system and the enhancement of its security. We will describe in an IT strategy plan how the IT aims and objectives you have identified can be achieved. We will determine your main IT resource and investment needs and create the framework in which priorities are set, resources are concentrated on key areas, and the responsibility for implementation is assigned. Alongside this, the strategy takes into account longer term IT goals and the fact that the system must be financially affordable, technically feasible and easy to manage and understand. We consider it essential that the provisions of the IT strategy are disseminated to all the people involved, and that they understand all these provisions. To achieve this, a common language must be devised, so our strategic planning includes the creation of a related communication framework.
