Administrators’ possibilities


Monitoring workstations. The central console allows administrators to select a workstation and view its detailed status report. This includes the following:

  • list of currently controlled peripheral or other I/O units;
  • chronological log of lock and release operations of controlled devices;
  • chronological log of user requests, date, reason of release, result of permission, result of release, reason of lock, result of lock;
  • indication of newly installed devices (these receive a locked status automatically).

Settings. The following can be set for any given output device at both group and user level:

  • File name pattern (such as something*.jp?)
  • Volume of data
  • Direction of data stream (write or read)
  • Temporal restriction

Logging. By selecting a user to be examined from the list of installed and configured users, administrators can view the following detailed logged information:

  • chronological log of lock and release operations of controlled devices;
  • chronological log of user requests, date, reason of release, result of permission, result of release, reason of lock, result of lock;
  • attributes of data movements, date, time, volume, direction (file name, date, path, login, target device).
    The filter and search interface of logs can be used to search for dates, registration codes and devices.
